Role: R&D - Gameplay Programmer / Hardware support
Timeframe: 8 weeks
Team size: 19 ( 7 Programmers, 6 Designers, 6 Artists)
Platform: HTC Vive & Oculus Rift
Engine: Unreal Engine 4.19
As gameplay programmer, I've been responsible for the movement that the designers have created. as well as prototyping the different weapons that we have in-game. Other than that I've been constantly working on zero gravity collision. Getting the player in such a state where he/she wouldn't get stuck the moment the player flew against a wall.
as for Hardware support, Whenever we had any kind of problems with the machine that we were using during this project. I was the one responsible for fixing those issues.
